Nathan’s 1st birthday is this weekend so Brint and I are driving the 6 hours to be there. I think Brint’s just happy to be on a road trip again. I’m not sure yet if we will be taking the interstate or cutting through Cook’s Forest. The later route would provide a much more interesting drive and hopefully some nice pictures of the trees turning. Either way, there should be road trip pictures up by Sunday.

It’s that time of year again. I know that I’ve been out of Seneca for awhile, but I can’t resist going to see a show. So for all of you out there: Nov. 12-13 – Dinner Theatre, Arsenic & Old Lace

I’ll be there Saturday night with a few old friends. See ya there… and please, oh please no feedback soundboard. I do still know how to crawl throught the ceiling if push comes to shove.

Arsenic and Old Lace is a play by Joseph Kesselring, which was made into a film by director Frank Capra. Capra actually filmed the movie in 1941 but it was not released until 1944.

On his wedding day, theatre-hating drama critic and confirmed bachelor Mortimer Brewster (Cary Grant) must cope with his bizarre family, especially his two elderly aunts who live in the old family home in Brooklyn.

Sleep is a good thing when it wants to cooperate, but in the meantime I can be productive. The pictures from Embedded System Design 3 have been posted to the image gallery. I would have to say that was the best time I have had in a long time. Three days of no sleep, working in lab 24 hours a day, getting locked out of the building by myself at 3 am. Ah the memories. Be sure to check out resistor man, our crowning achievement.

On a related note, yesterday I received the following email from Brint:

Hahaha… we just got a message over the intercom that they are working on the fire alarm system and that we should disregard any alarm. I want them to say umbrella! hehehe
